Colby, KS Pioneer HistoryThe Lone Star Presbyterian Church denotes the strong religious faith of the settlers. The Charming white country church was built in 1915 north of Gem, Kansas. In 1988, the building was moved to the museum site. It was the third time the building had been moved.
Colby, KS Historic ChurchesThe Cooper Barn is one of the largest barns in Kansas and holds a wealth of Thomas County History. Colby, KS MuseumsVilla High Park is truly the "Oasis on the Plains". This park, consisting of 40 acres, was created in the late 1960`s with the aid of the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks.
