Smoky Valley Classic Car Show

This show's popularity stems from the shade-filled location and small town hospitality. Growing larger each year, the car show gives out 100 awards to participants. Registration begins at 8:00 am at Swensson Park. Judging is from 10:00 am - 2:30pm. Awards begin at 3pm. Food Vendors. First Saturday in August.

Coronado Heights

Coronado Heights is a twenty-six acre virgin prairie park overlooking the Smoky Valley. The first buildings of Lindsborg were at the foot of this hill. Legend says it was also a lookout for Coronado's party on their 1541 journey into Kansas. This is one of the two highest lookout points in Kansas.

Höglund Dugout

Arriving in the fall of 1868, Gustaf Hoglund proceeded to dig a dugout to serve as some protection. The dugout served as the family home until 1874. The Smoky Valley Historical Association maintains the Hoglund Dugout, now a historical site marking an example of an early Scandinavian home.
