Event Details

Bonaparte Independence day celebration is our 4th of July Celebration we always have on a Saturday before the 4th. There will be activities for the entire family throughout the day. 1:00pm until 10:30pm. Saturday events will include water balloons, tug of War, pedal tractor pull, dog show, BINGO at the Opera House, Fish Fry and a parade at 5pm that goes through our downtown district and then fireworks on the riverfront to be held at 10 pm.

Bonaparte Pottery

A pottery was housed in this brick structure from 1865 to 1896. See parts of the kiln foundation, 22-foot fir beams, the area where horses powered the mill, drying areas and more. Special events include pottery making on site with original molds.
