The Phillips County Fairboard strives to make the Phillips County Fair an enjoyable, family-friendly atmosphere. The Fair is the time that the youth of Phillips County may showcase the 4-H projects that they have worked on all year. These projects include everything from livestock such as: Swine, sheep, cattle, horses to projects like arts and crafts, photography, foods, and clothing, and much more!

The Geodetic Center of North America was entered on the National Register of Historic Places on October 9, 1973. It is not to be confused with the Geographic Center of the Continental United States, which is located some 50 miles to the north near Lebanon, Kansas.
