Ferguson Nature Study is maintained and managed by Jack Kriss, long-time resident of Thomas County. This nature study area must be seen to truly appreciate the haven created for creatures and grass.

Villa High Park is truly the "Oasis on the Plains". This park, consisting of 40 acres, was created in the late 1960`s with the aid of the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks.

The Eller House, displaying typical furniture, clothing, and objects, tells of farm life in the 1930s. The house was built in 1906 in Colby, was moved to a farm south of town in 1917 and was moved to the museum site in 1981.
