Pawnee City, Nebraska

Pawnee County has many interesting places to see which are not open except by appointment. There are animals which are of interest but again, are not easy to find except by a motorcoach tour.

We can offer one day tours or more according to your schedule. Overnight accommodations for large groups are available at the Pawnee Inn Motel in Pawnee City, and smaller parties may be interested in the historic Covenant House Bed and Breakfast in Steinauer, and My Blue Heaven Bed and Breakfast in Pawnee City. We do have more to do than for one day so you need to pick and choose what interests your clientele. Our tour coordinator will get on board the motorcoach when you arrive in the County and be your guide for the day. Agricultural tours and Grandparent-Grandchild tours can also be made available. Some highlights of past bus tours have included the following attractions; for more detailed descriptions, see the county page.

  • The Bison Herd - A large herd north and west of Pawnee City
  • The Ostrich Farm - Lewiston
  • Old Fashioned Soda Fountain - Recently renovated with a blend of old fashioned tastes and gifts located in Table Rock
