Annual Olde Time Fiddle Festival
- 50 to 60 fiddlers participate in this event each year. Most of them have learned to play by observing a family member - a granddad, uncle, cousin, or grandmother. "They pass along the tradition and the tunes to the next generation. By sponsoring this event, we help generate interest in the tradition, and maybe encourage more young people to learn about this wonderful instrument and the old time fiddle melodies." Divisions are available for all ages: Youth (up to age 15), Seniors (age 65 plus), Texas Style and Old Time Traditional Style. $4,000 in prize money and trophies will be awarded. Registration for fiddlers begins at 9:30 a.m. for the Preliminary Rounds. The top five fiddlers in each division will be selected throughout the day. They will then compete for prizes and trophies in the final rounds beginning at 7:00 p.m. The Branson Best Western at 403 W. Main Street is the official host hotel for the Olde Time Fiddle Festival. A jam session for the participants will be at the hotel following the final rounds. Festival registration is free for the contestants. Paid admission provides a wristband ticket for the entire day and evening. This is a alcohol-free event. Coolers are not permitted at the event site. Soft drinks and food will be available. Artisans' Market at Branson Landing
- Branson Landing will be holding its Annual Artisans Market on the Promenade with arts and crafts. The Artisan's Market at Branson Landing is scheduled for Friday and Saturday from 10 AM to 8 PM, rain or shine. Branson Landing is a $435 million public/private project spanning 1.5 miles of waterfront on the beautiful Lake Taneycomo, adjacent to historic downtown Branson, Missouri. The 95-acre Branson Landing offers sumptuous living, eclectic shops, fine dining, intimate cafes and nightspots and a waterfront boardwalk-all animated with live entertainment, and a $7.5 million water spectacular that synchronizes light, sound, music and fire. Veteran's Day Parade and Ceremony
- On the 11th month, 11th day and 11th hour we honor our veterans. Veterans' Day Parade begins at 11 a.m. with a ceremony honoring veterans in historic downtown Branson. Annual Adoration Parade and Lighting Ceremony
